Writing to see if anyone knows of a step by step instruction how to on setting up Mythgames? The writeups I've found seem incomplete or for high level linux users. Any suggestions?

You may want to get familiar with the MythTV Wiki. http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Co ... _Emulation. Even though it's for MythTV it should work just as well with Knoppmyth. They have extensive coverage over there for getting things set up.
