Hey Everyone! I finally received the rest of my parts in this afternoon - Sound Card and Video Card. In typical "ME" fashion I just installed to see what would happen. Guess what... nothing happened. Oh well.
Anyway, I will give a run down of the parts I have so far:
Dell Dimension 8200 (1.79ghz P4)
256 MB RAM
XFX GeForce 6200 AGP 256MB
Chaintech AV710 Sound Card
PVR 150 (Model 1045)
Seagate Parallel 500GB
Pioneer DVD-RW
I am trying to use Directv with a Phillips Receiver. I have pretty much just tinkered with going through the menus and all.
I tried to watch tv with the coax connected to the PVR150 - just flickered back to the menu Like I said, it probably helps to read a bit before just diving in.
Well, if anyone has any great advice or insight all would be welcomed. I will start playing again tomorrow when I get home.
