| Post subject: | mythtv processes won't run |
This is a really weird thing. I just installed R5D1 and everything seemed alright. I loaded mythtv and when I try to do anything (add games, music, movies, rip dvds...) it starts to do the process but then stops almost instantly after the progress window pops up. I don't know if there is an error because the dialoge box flashes on the screen and doesn't stay on long enough to read. When I go to watch tv it tells me that the inputs are being used by recording processes and that I can watch the recording but nothing else. I went to the recordings and nothing is scheduled or recording at the time. I've searched the wiki and the forum for anything like my problem but couldn't find anything useful. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

any clues inthe log files? try starting mythfrontend from an xterm window and see if you get any clues in the window |
