I'm installing R5E5 and I get an error mesage that my BIOS age(2001) fails cutoff (2002) and that acpi=force is required to enable acpi. Being a Noob I completely ignored this as the rest of the install seemed to proceed without issue. That is until the first reboot... where it stalls while verifying the DMI pool. I'm guessing I need to force the acpi but how do I do this ??? I tried to search other posts but the search seems to be down right now. I also had R5C7 running perfectly on this box previously.
