Post subject:  Bit Torrent Client solution for R5D1 ??

I want to add a bit torrent client to this machine:

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12776

I want to be able to control the GUI form my windows machine, and then when I shut down my windows box have the torrent continue to download on the knoppmyth box. (its on 24/7)

It would also be good to be able to log into the machine from work and control it from there.

Can anyone recommend the best method to do this? I have used the command line bit torrent client in the past with "screen" to keep the session alive when i log out, but frankly it sucked. I want a GUI, so im starting to think VNC is my only option?

any advice appreciated. thanks

Hi,

On my KM (FE/BE) I'm using MLdonkey (search is Your fiend).
It supports 6 or 7 p2p protocols.
Remote control might be via:
-telnet
-WEB (MLnet has biuldin WEB server)
-dedicated application (win or platform independent java app "Sancho")

torrentocracy is incorrect, doesnt' work with latest MythTV versions.

TorrentFlux is what I meant to type.
