I'm trying out myth 0.20 on Fecora Core 6. I can't get the TV-OUT to work. It was working fine with FC4. I tried nvidia drivers 9755, 9631 and 9629. The display works okay on the intitial boot screens, and then tv screen just blinks and goes blank onces when X starts.

Has anybody here gotten TV OUT to work with a GeForce 4 card, on FC6, if yes, what driver version worked for you?

You may need to use the legacy version driver 7184. Read the linked chapter from nvidia.

OR just install knoppmyth If the machine is going to be a dedicated DVR it will be much easier.

This may seen to simple but you can only have one device plugged in at a time. If you have both a monitor and a TV connected you will get the result you mentioned. We discussed this here. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14548&highlight=

Thanks for that!! I have been vexing for DAYS how to get my monitor and TV working together (like they do at boot), and as soon as X starts I get either monitor, or TV not both. LOL I will try twin-view when I get keen & brave enough!
