Post subject:  xine installation

I am trying to install xine and get the following error.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike G.

xine-ui is already the newest version.
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:

xine-ui: Depends: libxv1 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

AT YOUR OWN RISK:
dpkg --force-overwrite install /var/cache/apt/archives/libxv1_4.3.0.dfsg.1-1_i386.deb
