 Post subject: Trouble shooting games

For some reason when I try to invoke xmame games from the command line an error is returned. Have misconfigured or neglected to configure something?

A check of the .zip files shows that the files are there.  If I can provide additional information for troubleshooting please let me know.

You probably need to edit /etc/xmame/xmamerc to run games from a terminal. The way I understand it, mythgame will use a different configuration file than the default (which is what is used in a terminal window).

I put the romname.zip files into \myth\games\xmame\roms and had KM search for the ROMs. It seems hit or miss whether the games work or not. Has anyone else seen this behavior. It seems like a large proportion of the games fail.
