I have KM set up. TV watching/recording works fine. What I really want to use KM for is to browse a network attached storage box which has a folder containing all my downloaded .avi, divix, xvid, wmv and .flv files. This NAS is running "NasLite 2" from server elements and is a wide open network share, i.e. no user account control / passwords available. I've tried setting up a samba mount of the file via ssh but I get an error "you specified an invalid share name". The NAS has two HDDs which NASLite names "Disk-0" and "Disk-1". I have named the NAS "Fileserver" w/ a 192.168.X.XX IP.

I've tried "smbmount //Fileserver/Disk-0/myvideo /myth/video/myvideo" and "smbmount //192.168.X.XX/Disk-0/myvideo /myth/vidoe/myvideo". I'm asked for a password, but the NAS does not have password capability so I leave it blank and hit enter. Then I get the error above.

How can I set up KM to allow me use the remote to browse that folder on the NAS and stream the files on it?

Yes KnoppMyth can do that, even though you are not prompted for a userid/password on Windows chances are it is logging you in with "guest". Try running the smbount command using options to specify username of "guest"

I use AutoFS with samba

Check the samba and autofs howto on the KnoppMythWIKI

Thanks for the reply. I'll give that a shot and have a look at AutoFS as well.
