Hello, I have installed KnoppMythR5F1 with Nvidia TNT2 32Mb video card, when I connect to my TV, initial screen "Welcome to KnoppMyth" is in color, but when starts MythTV I see all in Black&White, I read a lot of post and try to configure /etc/X11/xorg.conf like xorg.conf.nvidia.tv.out.sample but nothing happens, all Black&White. |

In your xorg.conf file, do you have something like this: Code: Section "Screen"
... Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO" If you have the TV Out set to SVIDEO, you may only be getting the luminance out. |

This is a part of my xorg.conf file: Section "Screen" Identifier "Screen0" Device "Card0" Monitor "Monitor0" Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV" Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE" Option "TVStandard" "PAL-B" Option "NoLogo" "1" Option "TVOverScan" "1.0" DefaultDepth 24 SubSection "Display" Depth 24 Modes "800x600" "640x480" EndSubSection EndSection I have tested with: COMPOSITE and SVIDEO Modes "800x600" "640x480" and Modes "640x480" Only black & white. Changed video graphics card from TNT2 32Mb to MX440 and all working 100%. I read in anothers sites RIVA TNT2 not work very well TVOut. Thank's. |
