I am trying to run Knoppmyth of the CD and it gets stuck at: Starting udev hot-plug hardware detection. I have to reboot and it just freezes there again. Hp a1211n AMD 64 3500+ ATI Radeon Xpress 200 ATI TV Wonder Keith |

My buddy had a system that would lock-up frequently, at the boot prompt I had to add: Code: acpi=off to get his system stable. Maybe you could try:Code: knoppmyth acpi=off
