Post subject:  mythburn install help

Went though the steps to install mythburn from wiki (MythTVBurn_Scripts_HowTo). I believe toward the end of the install I got some errors. During install when prompted, I just hit enter. I don't see a mythburn button on my recorded programs page. Not sure how to the fix errors. I copied the part text from the install that has the errors. I am hoping somebody can take a look at it and tell me how to fix. Getting ready to go to work. Check back in the mourning. Big thanks in advance!

The big question is _WHY_. The last several KnoppMyth releases already include MythArchive which is the new and improved version by the same developer(s) and now an officially supported MythTV plugin. It has been improved in any number of ways and produces good DVDs far more reliably and with less fussing about.

Also the chances of an abandoned package like that, which is so old and out of date, still working with current versions of MythTV are slim and none.

Sorry about that. The last time I tried to burn a DVD was several versions ago.

This is why the R5F27 Hints linked in my signature still mention this (see "Known Changes", item 7.4), so that people upgrading from old versions aren't left scratching their heads and trying to install obsolete packages.

Highly recommended reading, which may save you from struggling unnecessarily with any number of other problems.
