Hi everyone very very noob here.. Been using Knoppmyth for some time now and love it totaly... I did purchase the dNOVO edge wireless keyboard. and i will say that it works right out of the box with current knoppmyth ( kernel 2.6.18 ). Only the volume and touchpad dont work. I been doing some research and it seems newer kernels starting at 2.6.20 work out of the box on this keyboard..reports indicate that all buttons work ( including the media ones wich i dont realy care for ) Can we update the kernel to 2.6.20 on knoppmyth without any problems? If soo could someone guide me? I know you gurus are busy with more important stuff then helping me out but any help on this would be totaly gratefull... |

The next release will have a kernel new enough kernel if your infomation is correct. Perhaps you could PM cesman and offer to test. He is usually keen to have someone that can test some new hardware in the ever expanding list of hardware supported by knoppmyth. Alternately, wait for the next release which usually occurs soon after a Mythtv version release. The mythtv guys have said to expect a release in Feb. |
