In R5F27 there was a menu appearance called PearTV that a clone of AppleTV. I really liked it and and it has become my favorite. Is there a way to get in V5.5 of Knoppmyth? thanx, |

This is not my method, I would use Samba and a Windows box, but here goes. Log in as root (I do most everything in root, my choice) Switch to the theme directory: Code: cd /usr/share/mythtv/themes Download Theme File. In this case it is a zip file. Code: wget http://www.thisclicks.com/assets/mythTV/Pear-odyTV-wide.zip Unzip theme: Code: unzip Pear-odyTV-wide.zip Remove zip file Code: rm Pear-odyTV-wide.zip
Change theme: Main Menu>Utilities / Setup>Appearance>Screen #1 Enjoy |

Are you aware of a SDTV format of this theme? The link you provided is for 16x9 sets. Thanks! |

The creator/author has only done a wide screen format. At one point I was working on a SD format, but then I bought a 52" Sharp Aquos Wide Screen. I may dust it back off, time permitted. |

Hey. I just came across this post. I created the Pear-ody theme. I'm glad you like it. I have made all the PhotoShop PSD files available along with the Wide myth theme. You should be able to change the PSD files to create the standard version. http://www.thisclicks.com/assets/mythTV/ |
