Please don't flame me too bad. I have gone through and searched this site and others for this simple piece of information and maybe I have overlooked something but I still need help. I have a MEGA 651 but this one does not have nforce or nvidia cards. It has some generic integrated VGA. I have a PVR 250 model 980. I have been using the help from this site to get as far as I have gotten so I need just a little more to get this thing going. KnoppMyth RV4 Celeron 2.4 GHz 80 GB HD 250 Mb RAM PVR 250 (model 980) The Good Sound works on MP3 and CD Install went smoothly News reader and Weather work fine Progam Guide works The Bad Watch TV- only shows me a screen with static and no sound Record Shows - only shows me a screen with static and no sound Do I need to compile or install something or do I need to reinstall and start over. I am Linux newbie so I will need some good directions. I picked this box because it was recommended on this site and another to work out of the box. |

It's not a problem with the box. It's a problem with the version of pvr250 you have. If you search the forums for static on tvout I believe you will find your answer. It has been discussed much of late. |
