I'm looking to install Windscribe VPM so I can use a VPN on my HTPC machine.

I've managed to get the prerequisite of OpenVPN working thanks to another forum post.

Now I've been working on getting Windscribe working via the Arch package. I'm aware of some of the dangers of going off-LinHES repo and it's quite possible I've run into one of those.

Once I have the package installed, I try to run it as advertised:
Code:
[mythtv@htpc ~]$ systemctl status windscribe.service
Failed to get D-Bus connection: Operation not permitted

A bit of searching has turned up that systemctl doesn't exist in its classic form in LinHES. My question is: is there anything further I can try to get these services running or have I effectively hit a dead end?

LinHES uses runit not systemd. You will need to create a runit service file and start it for windscribe.
