I have tried both Rev 10 and Rev 12 with the same issue. I switched out the DVD Drive, dorked around with HD's, but no go.

When installing either the auto or manual install, during the install screen I get a bunch of error message about not being able to copy this, and a bunch of other errros. Is there an install log anywhere ?

I just ran through the Auto Install again and it messup after the file copy stage and gives errors during the below stages...

updating /etc/fstab
converting knoppix to debian
creating...

Is this a normal behavior? The system does boot up to x-windows and continues the setup. I just don't want to have weird problems down the road because I messed up on the initial install....

Thanks

First guess... You may have a bad burn on the CD. Check the md5sum on the ISO image you downloaded, and if that's OK then reburn at the slowest speed or with different media. You may also want to see if there's a newer alpha.

You can safely ignore the error messages at the end.

Thanks, for the replies. I will ignore the errors for now. The MD5 checksum had no problems, and it seems to run fine...
