I am having a problem with Knoppmyth R5A12 finding my PVR250MCE (not a blackbird). I had this working previously with R5A10 (live TV!), but a bad motherboard (7nif2) prompted me to go ahead and move up A12. I had the problem in A10 but for the life of me I cannot remember what I did to fix it. I am loading ivtv in modules, but this error is happening before ivtv is loaded (I think). The error: Checking Multimedia Video Controller { pcilib: Cannot open /sys/bus/pci/devices Knoppmyth found Unknown Device 0444:0016 (rev 01) } Done Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Ensure the board is well seat and or try another PCI slot. |
