Hello all, After following the post and doing some research I have my box almost ready to go. Here is what I have ASUSM7266 -AMD 1800 512mb mem PVR 350 AGP Video card- Not sure who makes it. Using only the entry to change my tuner type to get rid of a screen full of static (type 47 by the way) I am up and running. I have Live TV output on my monitor, then I set MYTHTV to use the PVR 350 outpunt in Utilities- Playback /dev/video16 Any way. I have the main Menu on my monitor and when I click "Watch TV it does play on the TV. What am I missing to display the UI on the TV also? I went through some other instructions earlier and downloaded the new IVTV drivers and before I ended up with a module not loaded error. I guess I am curious if I can just output the UI to the TV via gdm or something. Oh yeah, I also need to fiddle with the remote next. Don't worry I will search first. Thanks, Chris |

yes the entire interface can be displayed on the tv I won't go through it as it's a very long and complicated process, and quite challenging as you will find with a quick search of the forums, but there are instructions both on these forums and on the wiki for how to do it. |
