Hello all.

I have some problems with the KnoppMyth 5A15.1 distro, and hope somebody in here can help me out.

I use:
Via M10000 MB
nVidia nvtv tvcard
small PAL TVset as screen.

1. Can I get the install to use a smaller screen resolution during install on a TV set? The default setting is so large that I cant read any text.

2. How do I get colors in the KnoppMyth distro? I have colors during the installation, but when I start the distro it is just black'n'white.

3. How do I get my TV card to work with KnoppMyth/mythtv? I have read about people that got it to work, but couldn't find out how.

4. When I get colors and stuff, how do I save my mythTV screen settings? I get the screensize adjusted, but the it suddenly it changes back to some other larger reslution.

5. Can I update the MythTV app when I get things up and running? I see that there are some newer MythTV version compared to the one in the distro.

I hope somebody here can help me out on this. The distro and MythTv app look greate.

The problems you have listed whilst I have not directly had issue with, I have read them along the way.

The size of your screen should not be an issue as I have previously installed and used Knoppmyth on a 34cm TV (14" for you imperial people).

As usual I never read the manual, but it answer my first question allready on screen 2.

I'll try the search some more. I have tried to search for some of the questions, but I'll try some more.

I apologise for my rant above, but I am not the only poster that gets frustrated by people not utlising the search capabilities. I don't want to discourage you from posting, that is not my intention.

Just RTFM and search before posting.
