Hi, i just made an update of Mythtv to 0.18. I use Debian. Look at my list of installed components of Mythtv: ii libmyth-0.18 0.18-1 Common library code for MythTV and add-on mo ii mythbrowser 0.18-3 A small web browser module for MythTV ii mythdvd 0.18-3 DVD add-on module for MythTV ii mythgallery 0.17-2 Image gallery/slideshow add-on module for My ii mythgame 0.17-1 A game frontend (xmame, snes, nes, pc) modul ii mythmusic 0.18-3 Music add-on module for MythTV ii mythnews 0.18-3 An RSS feed news reader module for MythTV ii mythtv 0.18-1 A personal video recorder application (clien ii mythtv-backend 0.18-1 A personal video recorder application (serve ii mythtv-common 0.18-1 A personal video recorder application (commo ii mythtv-databas 0.18-1 A personal video recorder application (datab ii mythtv-doc 0.18-1 A personal video recorder application (docum ii mythtv-fronten 0.18-1 A personal video recorder application (clien ii mythtv-themes 0.18-1 Additional themes for MythTV ii mythvideo 0.18-3 A generic video player frontend module for M ii mythweather 0.18-3 Weather add-on module for MythTV ii mythweb 0.18-3 Web interface add-on module for MythTV Everything is working well, except mythgallery and mythgame, both have version 0.17. I can´t find a deb-package of them with version 0.18. What can I do, to fix the problem with the version??? Thanks, Andre |

You obviously didn't read the announcement that Isaac made for 0.18... From http://www.mythtv.org/ Quote: I'm now only distributing three source packages, instead of eleven. The new 'mythplugins' package combines all of the add-in modules that used to be distributed separately (mythmusic, mythweather, etc). There's a top-level configure script to enable/disable/configure all of the plugins. The new 'myththemes' package contains some of the themes that used to be distributed in the main download (Titivillus, Minimalist-wide, Iulius). I've split these out to cut down on the size of the main package a bit. Be sure to grab the themes package if you're using one of those themes, else you won't get the updated version for this release.

Hi, I read the news. But I made an apt-get install mythtv mythmusic etc. and I got the packages with version 0.18 except mythgallery and mythgames. So all I did (before) was to insert following line to my sources.list: deb http://dijkstra.csh.rit.edu/~mdz/debian unstable mythtv what do I have to do now? Do I have to choose different packages like apt-get install mythtv-plugins??? thanks Andre |

Plugins should cover all the things that used to be seperate. |
