Please forgive me, but I'm a little confused about the phrasing of the install options. I would like to use MythTV in the same manner that I'd use MCE or in my case Meedio. The target machine, would be the settop box, as well the media storage/tv recording machine. Is this a backend install, a front end install, or both? TIA! |

both though knoppmyth install doesn't have those options. |

Do an auto install that's the "both" option. There really isn't a FE or BE only install. You can use the CD as a uninstalled FE, but otherwise you install everything and just run what you want, with normal behaviour being a "all in one standalone install" |
