Hey guys,

Real noob here... First try with Linux.

I've tried installing KnoppMyth and I choose AutoInstall. Everything seems fine, I choose a time zone give usernames and passwords and then, when it tries to format, it gives me a weird error message.

I double checked my hard drive to make sure it's set to primary and it is.

What could I be doing wrong?

well giving us that error message will really help you get a valid answer.

I'm a dumbass. I had students of mine put together the box and they put the CDROM IDE cable as primary and the HD IDE cable as secondary. Seems fine now... So far so good..
