I am trying to run the linux-wlan-ng setup and when prompted for the linux source directory, I entered /usr/src/linux but received an error that there was no such directory -- where is the source directory? 2.78 Knoppix / Linux mythtv 2.6.11.9-chw-2 |

Try something like this: Code: root@black2:~# ls -ald /usr/src/linux* /usr/src/*kern*
drwxr-xr-x 19 root root 4096 May 21 10:39 /usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.11.9-chw-2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 37405762 May 23 20:35 /usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.11.9-chw-2.tar.bz2 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root src 28 Jun 21 22:26 /usr/src/linux -> kernel-source-2.6.11.9-chw-2 I'm guessing you either don't have your kerel source unpacked or are missing the symbolic link. A search for "unpack kernel source" here and on the wiki will provide more details and instructions. Also FYI - DO NOT multi post the same question in multiple sub-forums. It annoys Cecil no end and also most of the senior users who read things via "find all posts since my last visit" anyway. In case it's not obvious these are exactly the kind of people you want kindly disposed towards you.
