I get this line repeated many times (about 20) in dmesg on each boot: cdrom: open failed. Any ideas on what might be causing that? Also, there seems to be many error messages regarding something saying "No such device or address", but I can't really read it since my TV-Out jumps around a lot when it's in console mode. Where can I get more error messages from boot-up? |

In my 'messages' file I have this: Code: Sep 19 15:39:43 mythtv kernel: IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling driver Sep 19 15:39:43 mythtv kernel: cdrom: open failed. Sep 19 15:39:43 mythtv last message repeated 40 times Sep 19 15:39:43 mythtv kernel: kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds I'd like to figure out what it is that keeps trying to open the cdrom (I have no CD in either drive); is there a way to figure out what process is being loaded between the IPv6 driver and kjournald?[/code] |

Have you run the /usr/local/bin/cd_link.sh script? |
