I'm building a MythTV box and am stumped getting the IR receiver to work on my PVR-350.

I have CentOS 4.1 x86_64 with the stock kernel and all the packages off of ATrpms.

modprobe.conf has:

alias char-major-61 lirc_i2c
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv_fb
alias char-major-81-1 bttv
alias char-major-81-2 ivtv
options ivtv ivtv_debug=1
options tuner type=2
options msp3400 once=1 simple=1

ivtv_fb is installed and I have the console X session being output on the PVR-350. The /dev/video* entries have been created.

A modprobe of lirc_i2c gives:

lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, at major 61
lirc_i2c: chip found @ 0x18 (Hauppauge IR)
ivtv: i2c attach to card #0 ok [client=Hauppauge IR, addr=18]
lirc_dev: lirc_register_plugin: sample_rate: 10

/dev/lirc, /dev/lircd/ and /dev/lirc0 are all created. Starting lircd does not yeild any errors.

However, at this point irw does not yield *any* output from my remote. I've seen postings suggesting that it may be the plug on the IR receiver. I've shifted and manipulated the plug and tried using a second receiver I had handy but still can't get any output.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go next?
