I have a working back end, and trying to get a front end set up. I'm using a VIA EPIA ME6000 and using the video out. This is a new setup, so I'm using the latest Knoppmyth distro, and the latest BIOS update from VIA, which is almost 2 years old now. I have enabled Xvmc and the other VIA option(not in front of the machine right now, so I forget which one it is) so I get smooth playback. The only problem is that the TV has a green tint to it. I can see video, but it is very green. I can see video on the monitor just fine, with the right colors, but using the s-video out I get the green tint. I have disabled the Mythbackend on this machine, and disabled the Mythfrontned on the server machine. seems like I remember something about epia boards and tvout needing dpms turned off in XF86C0nfig-4 or something like that. |
