Howdy... I'm using a Hauppauge PVR-150 card with KnoppMyth. I got everything up and working without a whole lot of setup changes, so... that's great. The problem I am having, though, is when watching live TV, everything is black and white. I'm connected via S-Video 0, if this helps. Let me know if you need any additional info... Thanks! |

Hi runLEVELzero, The only thing I understand, is you have a pvr-150 making tv. You will need to give some more hardware / system information. The pvr-150 as far as I can see on my card, it has, s-vhs, comp and rf in, no s-vhs out. How are you are getting s-vhs out will determine what can be offered for assistance. Mike |

Well... I figured out the color problem, anyway. I just had to update a bunch of packages (ivtv, etc, so on, so forth). So that part is cool. My video out to the television is just through VGA (SiS chipset). Though I am getting color, it appears to be a very low-bit setting... the colors are quite "spotty", at times. Is there a place I can mess with resolution/color-depth in KnoppMyth? I'ma bit of a newbie, so forgive me if that's an obvious question... Thanks for the help... |
