Before I build a box I need to know how the Myth box tunes the dish channels and gets around the receiver. Do both timers need to be set up the same on the dish box and the Myth box to record at the same time or does the Myth do the tuning?

And it works great, too. I'm using a PVR-150 capture card with a Dish Network 811 receiver. The best resource I found for getting the IR blaster to work with the Dish receiver was at this forum. Best of luck with it! It's worth every second you put into it.
