Post subject: | Run commands as root during booting? |
Hi! I have a problem that's irritating me. To be able to use my remote I must run /etc/init.d/lirc very late during booting (probably the /dev/event number is changing during the boot process - if I start lirc by doing 'update-rc.d lirc' it uses the wrong event number. But if I call lirc from the command prompt with the event number in /proc/bus/input/devices everything is OK. I've written a script that finds this event number, but when using it during bootup it gets the wrong number ![]() Greeting Göran K |
