I am new to knoppmyth but fairly experienced in Linux. While trying to figure out how some things work (I am currently waiting for my pvr-250 to arrive) I noticed that the files /etc/init.d/logoutd and /etc/init.d/kerneld do not exist on my computer. I decided to reload (it is so easy since I am using the automatic mode) by re-burning the cd from the downloaded iso file and restarting. They are still missing so it is unlikely that it is an error on two discs. I am using the latest R5A26. Should I download an earlier version? Thanks, John. |

any particular reason you want these two scripts? what do they do? they are not on any of my debian based distributions. ubuntu desktop debian unstable laptop or knoppmyth. |
