Hi all, I'm trying to build a small pvr. As a first step I'm trying to install knoppmyth R5A30.1 on mi via Epia ME6000. I get no error nor warnings when I go throught the installation process, and when I restart the computer Mythtv menu appears automatically. The problem is that none of the menu options really work. If i try to listen to music for example, the "updating database" message appears and myhttv crashes. That's ok with me if it's ok with you. playlist.o: Taking a 0 (zero) off a playlist If this happens on repeated invocations of mythmusic, then something is really wrong MythThemedDialog.o: something is requesting a screen update of zero size. A widget probably has not done a calculateScreeArea(). Will redraw the whole screen (inefficient!). Illegal instruction I dont get the error if the cdrom is empty or it has no music (mp3 nor cdda) When it comes to playing video I've similar problems if i go to the video library and it´s empty i doesn't crash but if I put any kind of video myhttv crashes. Any idea of how could i solve this problems...i suppouse everything is caused by the same thing but got no idea. Thanks for your attention. |

Thank you very much!! It works! now next step would be to enhance the performance, if that possible with the hardware I have, Via Epia ME6000. Any suggestions?. I get the worst performance when it comes to paly music, mp3. Very bad performance with visualization and when I exit the music player the last sound goes on repeating for about 30seconds. The in the photo gallery it takes quite a long time to load the images previews and the slide show's speed is also very low. |
