I'm trying to get lirc set up to work with my Niveus remote (IR/RF). I set up the files using an lirc.conf file i found online, but it doesn't work, so I want to use irrecord to make sure that the computer is receiving the signal from the remote. But when I try to run irrecord, it tells me it "couldn't claim USB interface"...I killed everything accessing /dev lirc, lirc1, lircd, and lircm, but i still keep getting the same message. any suggestions?
