| Post subject: | Embarrassing problem with Nero |
Hi all: Well, I have a problem only a Linux newbie could have. Frustrated with nuv2disc et al, I installed NeroLinux. Somehow, I managed to maximize the Nero window, and now I cannot see all of the window, as it goes past the edges of the screen. Is there some keyboard shortcut I can use to size the window a bit smaller so I can see the whole thing?

See if it's got an entry in: /home/mythtv/.fluxbox/apps or maybe: /home/mythtv/.nero-whatever |

thornsoft: Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I tried that, and couldn't find any entry. Hold on...I just found a file: /var/lib/menu-xdg/applications/menu-xdg/X-Debian-Apps-Tools-nerolinux.desktop Could that be what I should be looking for? I looked inside it, but didn't see anything resembling window dimensions. Code: [Desktop Entry]

Hi folks: Well, I ended up learning that I can hold down the Alt key while moving the mouse cursor, and that will allow me to move, and later size the window. Saved the window measurements, and then closed the app. Reopened Nero and all was well. I hope this helps some other newbie. Thanks for your help. shplad |
