well at least on mine there was no rhyme or reason that I could ascertain between the channel numbers ( 114-3 ) and the information you need for mythtv. There's got to be a chart somewhere correlating channels like my internal hdtv tuner on the tv picks up ( see above ) and the freq information needed by mythtv, but google as I may I never could find it.

I just had to do the scan use the script to rename everything and go through them one at a time to build my channels.conf file.
