Recently upgraded from R5C7->R5E50. Hardware config (see sig) stayed identical. Problem is with HD-3000 card. With R5C7 it worked fine for unencrypted QAM digital and HD on Comcast. After upgrade the HD-3000 is basically useless. Live & recorded tv stutters and is badly pixilated. No errors or anything obvious. Only variable was upgrade.
Not even sure where to look on this.

Thanks

I don't know if this relates as I don't have a HD-3000 but... My experience going from D1>E50 was that it takes more resources now (RAM & CPU) to do HD. What does your TOP show? I never needed swap with D1, but now routinely do. I chalk it up to me needing to fine-tune xorg some more.

Top has not changed appreciably. On R5C7 it ran ~15% CPU. R5E50 ~17%.
Not sure about swap. Never noticed.

Thanks
