Installed R5F1 using the AutoInstall. Running a combined frontend/backend setup here.

The install went fine. When the backend setup first appeared, I was able to scan for ATSC channels and it found all 12 in my area.

Then, once the frontend came up, I chose "Watch TV" and all the channels were there. Signal ranged from 100% to 30%. All channels watchable.

I rebooted because I had to fix a line in the hardware.conf for my remote control. Upon rebooting, there was 0% signal on all channels. So, I did the obvious of checking the coax connections...all fine. TV is still playing upstairs which is being fed from the same antenna.

So, I quit the frontend, stopped the backend and went to the backend setup. I did a full scan again on ATSC. Started the backend, started the frontend and "We get signal". Hooray...until a reboot. Then we're back to 0%.

I don't understand what is causing this to happen. But, it is very reproducible on my machine. ANY input is appreciated.

"Entourage" has just pointed out to me that this is a known issue with the Rev0.2 Air2PC. Apparently there is a delay before it will start tuning after a boot.

Thanks.

Yes-
Typical 'normal' behavior for a 0.2 Air2PC card.
