If the HDHR only need to be seen by the LinHES box buy two more network cards or onemore and another router. I'm assuming that you could set up an HDHR as an AdHoc network for that first option.

I don't believe there is any way to assign an IP address to the HDHR other than via DHCP so you will need to run a DHCP server on your Myth box in order for the "AdHoc" HDHR(s) to have an IP address. Other than that what you are proposing is doable.

I've found it easier to just hang the HDHR off the same Gigabit switch as my Myth box and let it get an IP from my main router. The only reason I can see for going direct to the Myth box is to keep a little traffic off the main network but with a Gigabit switch the HDHR traffic is hardly noticeable.
