I have a little extra money after the holidays and I am looking to pick up a HDTV capture card for my Knoppmyth machine. Anyone have any preferences between the HD3000 and the Air2PC-ATSC card? I am leaning towards the HD3000 right now, seems like the support in Knoppmyth is slightly more mature from what I have read. I don't have a HDTV yet but I assume I can play the recorded HD shows on my Windows machine if I have enough horsepower? Also anyone have any antenna recommendations? Thanks |

cesman's comments on recent threads made me lean towards the HD3000 for now, re: knoppmyth driver support, assuming I understood correctly. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... ght=hd3000 Then I looked at the pictures of each card side by side. The HD3000 has more connectors and may therefore be more useful. So, I ordered an HD3000. -brendan |
