For those HDTVers out there who want a desktop that fills their screen, I've got a 16:9 version of the KnoppMyth wallpaper. Here's the small thumbnail preview:



The full-on version is a 1366x768 PNG file that weighs in at about 500K, and is viewable/saveable at this URL:

To use this with R5 alpha, I did the following: as mythtv user, edit the file ~/.fluxbox/init and look for "session.screen0.rootCommand: fbsetbg" Change the file name to the new desktop. I copied the new desktop to /usr/local/lib/ first as I wasn't sure it would be able to use it from my home directory.

I'm using an Infocus 4805 projector on a home-built screen...projector was about $1300 at the time (probably cheaper now) and the screen material cost about $200...much cheaper than the 50" plasma I was going to buy at the time (9 months ago or so)
