Im going to be building a myth box for 1 of my fathers boss's and need a little help understanding HDTV - he has a huge 62" sony tv (no model number right now) and a Bell Sat. System. Now being in Canada, we can't pull hd over the air as of yet, so we must resort to using either a Cable box, or Sat box. So my Fathers boss has already order a Bell setup (http://www.bell.ca/shop/61065.details?tab=OVERVIEW) for his place, and an extra receiver. What im looking for the the least painful way to get that receiver signal into myth, but maintain quality on live playback, and recordings. His 2nd receiver is going to be a standard one. Ill take care of that one with a pvr-150. So, am i looking at the HD-3000, with an irblaster (serial)? How about video cards going out? any suggestions? Sorry to ask this, i dont have HDTV so i couldnt tell you guys anything, this one is going to defiently be interesting. Thanks - Scott |
