And even if you can get HD into your PC from your cable company over coax, that isn't the same thing as getting HD to your HDTV from your PC over coax--which is what started this whole conversation. That is still not possible: you need VGA->Component adapter, or DVI, or HDMI, or plain old VGA if your HDTV has a VGA port (some do as liv2cod mentioned).

Is there a way to find that out? I was able to scan and find the channels on a windows computer. Any way to find out before I try to build the box.
