I'm this close ---> | | <--- to being happy with my HD set up... I'm having an issue with changing channels on my HD-3000 using my Haup remote. Basicly, when I flip to certain channels, my picture stutters for a few seconds and then freezes causing my frontend to die. Today, I'm trying to flip from my local CBS to my local Fox station. Both are showing HD NFL football games. I think it has something to do with lircd, but I don't know how to fix it. Here's an sample from my syslog:

The same error appears in the daemon.log, but I can't seem to find anyother errors in my other logs. My hardware is listed in my signature below. I'm using the 8174 nvidia drivers and XvMC with OpenGL enabled. Anyone else have this issue?

good luck. I don't think anyones has gotten ota hdtv to work for channel surfing. the problem is the change in resolutions. mythtv just really doesn't handle it too well at this point.
