Thanks to digitalb0y I was able to find all the infor that mysql needed for the channel database except the mplexid. I thought I was going to have to wait for an update to be able to tune a channel. Thanks to a post I found it!! http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/m ... 56;#170723 What you do is enter mysql with mysql -u root -p mythconverg. Hit enter at password. Select mplexid from dtv_multiplex where frequency = "XXXXXXXXX"; This command tells the mplexid. By entering in the frequency,mplexid,serviceid into the mysql database created after mythfilldatabase I can tune television. I am very excited. I am curious if the .19 will make obsolete this work I did. The reason I needed this is that my cable company does not broadcast the pid for the qam channels. |
