I'm using the OTA guide, but don't have nice little icons for my program guide. Whilst I'm sure that the world will not come to an abupt end due to their absence, it would add a nice polish to the system.

I tried a perl script suggested elsewhere, but it would not respond to my post code, which suggests it may not be designed for the UK.

So, any pointers on getting them installed, possibly with instructions for the 'linux command-line challenged' among us would be great!

If you hunt around (my handle as author and "channel icons" as keywords) you should find a thread with a source for worldwide channel icons.

Placing the icons in /home/mythtv/.myth/channels/

and then doing a bit of SQL;

mysql -u mythtv --password=mythtv mythconverg <<EOF update channel set icon='/home/mythtv/.mythtv/channels/MISSING_ICON.jpg' where callsign='MATCHING_STATION'; EOF

should do the trick! Great.
