Ok...I did a little searching, but can't seem to come up with the right terms.

I have two PVR150 tuners.
I added each to teh capture cards in the setup.
I then created two video sources called Shaw Cable 1 and Shaw Cable 2
I then went to input connections, and set Shaw Cable 1 to Tuner 1 of my first card, and Shaw Cable 2 to Tuner 2 of my second card.

Some things aren't quite right.

1. My first tuner doesn't have channel names, just Channel 2, Channel 3, etc, while my second tuner has the actualy names, like CBC, TSN, Space, etc

2. I'm assuming because of #1 if something is recording on card 1, and it conflicts with another show that I scheduled, it doesn't record it on card 2 automatically...it says there is a conflict. Is this because the channel names are different, or because I set it up as two video sources?

Other than that, things are running not too bad.

Thanks.

It almost sounds like the first card hasn't been configured for the same channel guide as the second card.

The part of this that is confusing me is that it's able to record on the first card. Is it doing it by show title?

You might want to try deleting both video sources and adding them back again. Remember to -not- do a scan for channels also.

Ok...maybe that's where I screwed up.

What exactly should I do when adding sources...there's several ways to scan for channels...yet...we're not supposed too...I always get confused by that.

Just let the system handle the channel configuration after you add the sources. If you do a scan channel, it will mess it up. If that's what you did (I did it myself) you'll have to remove the sources and add em back anyway.

I don't remember when it configures the channels. It might do a mythfilldatabase first.

Why have you got two seperate video source defined in the first place? You don't need to do this unless you've really got two different feeds with two different lineups.
