ok, this one is driving me nuts

setup to record two channels at the same time, both record without any issues, the problem is only one recording is added to the recorded database

setting the verbose level to 'all' for the logging (back and frontend), nothing shows up in any log, no sign of anything out of the ordinary, checking the database also shows no errors

my hardware is:

P4-3.2GHz
4GB Ram
3x400GB SATA2 drives (LVM2)
NVidia 6600GT (PCIe)
ASUS P5LD2 Motherboard
DVICO Fusion Dual DVB
Hauppauge PVR350

running:

Gentoo 2.6.18 kernel
Myth 0.20
MySQL 5
nvidia driver 1.0.9629
v4l-dvb (svn version)
ivtv 0.8.1

any ideas most welcome :?

Er, how do you know both recordings worked then?

Just out of curiousity, when you have two concurrent shows being recorded, and you visit the system status to list the tuner info, does it list both tuners as recording?

If you view the program guide and set it to record 2 concurrent shows, does it show no conflicts?

playing the recorded files outside myth proves both recorded

going into system status/tuners does show two tuners recording

no conflicts are reported

Ok. There might have been a failure updating the database then.

Check the mysql log files. It should show at least the queries it did to post the one show. See if it has the inserts for the other show or not.
