I've got sound when I play a dvd or anything thru xine. I just hooked up OTA thru my Air2PC card and the PQ is great, but no sound. I've checked the alsamixer and all seems OK, I mean it's working fine for dvds.

I'm just using the analog out as I only have stereo. It goes from the onboard soundcard to the TV via a 1/8" stereo cable. Works great for dvds.

Any suggestions, I'm all ears? :)

I've been messing with alsamixer, reconfigured alsa, previously I've installed the latest alsa utils-libs-drivers and that was how i was able to get the sound for dvds to play. I've played with the capture settings trying Line-Mic-Capture-Aux, but nothing. I've changed the mixer to 0,1,2,3 as I have to use dev2 with the onboard sound I thought this might need a tweak.

Is there any way to play tv with xine as I can get the sound to work using xine? any idea's are welcome.

Right now I have Hi-Deaf... :(

OK, I know that the recordings from livetv have sound as I can play them just fine in xine. I have audio just fine with DVDs.

When I try to adjust the volume when playing LiveTV, I see no adjustment pop-up. I get a pop-up menu for other buttons (f-color options also shows volume @ 99%). I've changed the keys for volume and added a 4th option ctrl + u, etc. Still nothing! No menu, no sound.

If anyone has any idea's I'd be happy to hear them? Anyone?
