I have been able to run mythsetup, mythfilldatabase, mythweb, and everything works fine.

mythfrontend does not load though. The last message I see is 'Starting Media Monitor', looks like the last module is MythMedia.

But I don't see anything else?

Any ideas where to start?

Thanks

I would start off with telling us what hardware you are running. Include all of the details you can find:
Processor
Motherboard
Amount of RAM
Capture Card
Video Card
Sound Card
TV/Monitor
Connection to TV/Monitor (svideo, RCA, standard monitor cable...)

If you remote in using vnc, can you see the screen and buttons?
If you can't vnc in, can you ping the machine while the front-end is supposed to be up.

While I might not be able to provide an exact answer, there are a lot of people here who really know their stuff. The more details you give them, the more likely you are to get a response.

thanks,

Thanks for the reply. I had forgot I posted this.

After I posted, I started going through the motions of the system, and found that it only had ~80Mb RAM, total. I have since boosted it up to 196Mb and everything is running fine.

The cool thing about it was that everything else worked. I could log into MythWeb from another system, etc. Mythbackend, mysql, apache, etc were all running fine. MythFrontend itself, because of the GUI, and everything pushed it to high.
