I have an HDHomerun and a PVR-150. When changing the channel (up or down), it seems to only stay within that tuner. The only way I know of to switch "tuners" is to go through the program guide. Is there anyway to change this or another way of doing this? Ideally what I want is that lets say SD ABC is channel 13 have the HD channel renamed so that it is now channel 13. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Dan

Dan, I'm not sure I'm following you... you seem to be raising 3 points?
Have you tried the hot-key to switch tuners? I think by default it is "Y"

To change your channel lineup you will have to change your backend configuration.

In other programs such as SageTV. I can configure it so that when I change channels it will seamlessly go from tuner to tuner. For example if I have HDhomerun Channel at 50 and channel from my pvr-150 on 49. I would be able to hit channel up and it would switch from 49 to 50 and automatically know that 50 is on my HDHR and 49 is on my pvr-150. The way myth is configured now on my box when it is set to a channel on my pvr-150, I can only change to channels configured on my pvr-150. The only way to get to channels on my HDHR is to go to the guide and select them.

The other thing I was asking was something different, but dependent on the first. Let say I already have a channel 50 on my 150 could I replace that channel with 50 from my HDHR, so that when I'm surfing channels 50 is now going to my HDHR instead of the pvr.

As for the Y button I thought that switches tuners on the device, for example from s-video to composite, etc. Not actual tuner cards.

I hope this is a better explanation,

Dan

I have an ATSC card as well as a 150 I use for cable. I only get cable channels when I "watch tv" from the menu. I tried to find information on it with searches and what not but I guess I didn't know the right phrase to look for.

I know if you directly enter the channel number, it does switch tuners.

So other people have this? It just doesn't make sense, I still think I'm doing something wrong. I shouldn't have to switch "tuners" to surf specific channels. Its not a big deal, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something here.
